Gynecologic Ultrasound Services

We routinely perform pelvic ultrasounds to assess and manage a wide range of gynecologic conditions, including:

• Abnormal or heavy bleeding

• Pelvic pain or pressure

• Irregular periods

• Uterine fibroids

• Ovarian cysts

• Endometrial thickness

• IUD placement verification

• Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

Both transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound options are available depending on the indication and patient comfort.

Obstetric Ultrasound 

At Complete Healthcare for Women, we offer early obstetric ultrasound for patients in their first and second trimesters—up to 20 weeks of gestation. Our OB ultrasound services include:

• Confirmation of intrauterine pregnancy

• Dating and viability scans

• First-trimester bleeding evaluations

• Limited second-trimester anatomy and growth checks (up to 20 weeks only)

Please note: We do not provide obstetric care beyond 20 weeks gestation. After 20 weeks, patients are referred to a delivering provider or perinatologist as needed.

 

What to Expect

Ultrasounds are performed during your regular visit whenever possible. Our team will explain what we’re looking for during the scan, and in most cases, you’ll receive your results and a treatment plan on the same day.
